1. Research and Optimize Your Keywords
This is a sticky situation for most people beacuse they know nothing or almost nothing about SEO or Search Engine Optimization. Instead of targeting just your niche try investigating just what people are putting into the search engines when they think of your niche, you may be suprised at what you find. You will also find that using keywords that don't have that much competition can quickly move you up in the search engine rankings.
2. Create Landing Pages
If you're going to use landing pages you must remember one Golden Rule and that is Keep It Simple Stupid or K.I.S.S. Short, sweet, and to the point will make your landing pages more attractive to customers and give you a larger conversion rate. Your landing pages should also target different audiences if you have more than one product. For example if your business is in the fitness industry and you offer both weight gain and weight loss products you should have landing page for both products.
3. Create Business Profiles in Online Directories
When first starting your marketing projects you should create a business profile in as many online directories as possible. Make growing your business name online your first priority. Be sure to update these profiles as your business grows and changes. This will keep your business profiles consistent and your business information correct.
4. Buy Relevant Domains
In other words if your business name is BOBO you will want to create websites like bobo.com, bobo.net and bobo.org. The larger your company the more relevant domains you may want. If you are an international company I would suggest you buy them all. Nothing could be worst than someone messing with your brand name because you didn't buy a relevant domain name. You may also want to make a domain name for any new products you release with backlinks to your main site. Several relevant domain names will facilitate your company in tracking what gives you the most inbound traffic. Once you have this information you can repeat the process for your other domains.
5. Start a Blog
Write or hire someone to write creditable, informative, unique content for your blog. You'll find it's an easy way to establish your buiness online and most webhosting services will include a blog in one or more of their sales packages. Make sure you cover your industry-specific news, advancements, how to information if possible. Whatever you do don't make your blog a big sales and product information page. Also make sure you are archiving all of your blog post. By archiving your content unlike deleting it, you will be able to keep all of the inbound links you have built.
6. Don't Start PPC & Ad Words Campaigns
Starting an PPC or AdWords Campaign at the beginning of your marketing endeavours could easily start your company losing money investing in campaigns that need to be tested again and again to be truly successful. It is much wiser to be seen in organic search rather than in paid content early on.

Before you start blogging for dollars you should be aware of what type of blogger you are or you're going to be. If you're doing research on blogging and I assume that's why you are reading this article, you will find that there are only 4 real types of bloggers. The first being the "teenager or young person seeking fame" the second "online diaries" the third "any business person needing cheap web presence" and last but certainly not least "people trying to make money blogging." I know for certain that you...yes you, are in one of the above mentioned groups of people.
This is where it get baffling for most people when they first start blogging. You have everything setup, you've got your banners, links, and Adsense, you even have a post or two and now you don't know what to do next. This next step is going to be the hardest part for most of you simply because writing articles and blog posts daily or every other day isn't something that comes easy for most folks. Combine that with the fact that your content has to be not only unique but also interesting and informative as well, can make blogging for dollars more than most are ready to tackle. I'm not saying this to discourage you from any of your endeavours, but to simply let you know that it isn't all fun and games if you intend on making any real money blogging. You have to think of your blogging as a business and do the same things that anyone running an internet business would do.
Some things you for you to consider: Should you hire SEO services?, Should you hire writers?, Do you have the time to update your content daily?, Are you going to have more than one blog?, Are you going to use Adsense, Adwords or both?, Do you have the skills to do some of the above?, Is blogging going to be fun for you?
After you strongly consider the above you should learn these 5 simple rules of blogging. Rule 1. You must have UNIQUE CONTENT! Rule 2. You must be INFORMATIVE! Rule 3. You must be INTERESTING! Rule 4. When you can use VIDEOS! Rule 5. NEVER USE SPAM AS A MEANS OF ADVERTISING! Taking for granted you follow these universal blogging rules you can readily succeed in having multiple high ranking blogs. Keep in mind that if you have multiple blogs you must make sure the content is continually fresh and interesting. For your blogs to be considered good and read by many you should maintain about a 300-500 word posts on a daily basis.
Having said that, it's going to take both time and patience to establish, further, and develop your blogging network. There’s already a lot of competition, myself included and it’s only going to get more difficult. The good news is there is still room for everybody.

Recent changes in the Google Adsense program has many online website owners and marketers seriously concerned. Many have seen their Adsense profíts and income flatline... seen their four or five figure monthly Adsense income disappear overnight. For many the Google Adsense bubble has burst. What happened? First, Google made a change in its Adsense program, letting advertisers choose between putting their ads in the search results or on the content pages of Adsense publishers. Search won out and started to receive the higher bids. Search results convert better than content ads. |
Next, Google has cracked down on Junk Adsense sites, like they should. These sites consisted mainly of software generated re-hashed search engine links and were totally annoying to say the least. But Google also cracked down on 'squeeze pages' or 'affilíate landing pages' - a lucrative source of income for many online marketers, mainly because these pages helped marketers build an opt-ín list or use permission based email.
The results of these changes produced an Adsense meltdown for many online marketers.
Some Internet marketers are speculating recent changes could even mean the death of Adsense. One online marketer, Scott Boulch even published a free report entitled 'The Death of Adsense".
Many affilíate marketers would agree with Boulch on some of his points, especially the obvious fact that using Adsense on your web content is starting on the bottom rung of the online marketing ladder. Instead of receiving pennies per clíck with Adsense, alert marketers and webmasters have already discovered that by using CPA (Cost-Per-Action) and direct affilíate links, they can produce significantly more revenue from their web pages. Why eärn pennies per clíck when you can eärn $5, $10 or OVER $100 per clíck?
But the fine people at Google are catching on...
In the past Google has made its own swing to the Cost-Per-Action direction with its referral system for the Firefox Browser and giving webmasters credít for signing up Adwords and Adsense accounts.
Many online marketers believe Google needs to expand on these baby steps and open their Adsense affilíate program up to third party products/advertisers. In a recent company statement Google offered some hope: "We're always looking for new ways to provide effective and useful features to advertisers, publishers, and users," the company stated "As part of these efforts we are currently testing a cost-per-action (CPA) pricing model to give advertisers more flexibility and provide publishers another way to eärn revenue through AdSense." Basically, in cost-per-action, advertisers pay for leads, purchases or customer acquisition. It would help with the clíck fraud issue and the monetary returns could potentially make Adsense's revenues pale in comparison.
As more and more commerce goes online... acquiring customers for such diverse services as ínsurance, real estate, telephone, marketing, web hostíng, travel, mörtgage loans, cable TV, banking... you name it, almost any service or product sold in the marketplace is now turning to the Internet for customers and lifelong clients.
Enormous sums of monëy will change hands. Perhaps, the most lucrative of these is customer acquisition. Advertisers are turning to the Internet and webmasters/marketers for acquiring these lifelong customers for their respective services and products. Businesses and companies are quickly realizing paying an attractive lead generating fee/commission is smart business. They quickly build a client base for their services or products and quickly recoup their expenses - realizing in the long run these leads will generate huge profíts.
It can also mean huge profíts for the CPA networks like ValueClick's Commission Junction and Rakuten's LinkShare who supply the advertisers with publishers and website marketers to harvest these leads. It can be a lucrative venture for all involved, especially for those online marketers who have cornered the search engines for lucrative niche markets in big ticket items. Even small ticket items pay quite well for those marketers who know how to market online.
Contextual advertising is fine, but CPA (Cost-Per-Action) will offer much better returns for the website owner. Making any profitable site much more profitable. It will and is opening up a whole area of marketing opportunities that nevër existed before we had the Internet. Creating a complex structure of advertisers, publishers and the Affilíate/CPA companies that connect the two.
Of course, cutting out the middle man has always been even a more profitable venture for most marketers. As more and more webmasters realize they can make much more with dealing directly with companies, rather than going through a middle process like Google Adsense or the countless other affilíate/CPA networks ... online marketers can reap even bigger rewards.
For an online marketer when you get a telephone call or email from the CEO or the affilíate manager with a company or service you're promoting with your website - you know you have made it! Dealing directly with a company usually means bigger commissions and special exclusive deals just for you or your sites.
Only fly in the ointment, all that extra paperwork and business wheeling and dealing. Many marketers and website owners like the idea of someone else handling all the tracking, collecting payments, promotional materials... they just like to sit back and build more websites and content. It gives the affilíate marketer a lifestyle that they are looking for on the web. They just like to market and promote with their sites and let someone else worry about the details. Therefore, there will always be a place for contextual ads like Google Adsense... "Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated."
However, could CPA be a better alternative for the current Adsense contextual ads?
Google would be the natural choice for a middleman if there ever was one. Besides, many savvy marketers know the Google brand name is trusted online, any product/service promoted through Google would be an easy sell. Many argue Google already dominates the web, why should it not be the one to handle these CPA transactions through its Adsense program.
On the flip side, over countless updates and changes to its indexing, many webmasters have experienced more than a few negative dealings with Google. Many have won, many have lost in this Google Age, but all have realized riding the Google Search Engine is like running with the bulls at Pamplona, totally thrilling unless you're one of the unfortunate few who get trampled in the process.

How To Have An Auto-Updating Content Rich Site Just Like The Pro's!
Posted by Global Research NetworkImage by blakespot via Flickr
A content web site is a site that is directed to a particular niche. Typically they are a smaller niche and not a vast niche like for instance airplanes. Alternatively a content web site would be about a more modest niche like "How to Repair a Twin Engine Airplane". Typically the content on the site is entirely on that one smaller niche subject. Unless you've been an internet marketer it is very possible you've visited many content websites without even being aware what type of sites they were.
The beauty of content sites is that anybody can easily acquire and profit from them, even though numerous people believe this represents a grueling undertaking this is not the case, as a matter of fact with some user friendly tools and just a little know-how it can be very easily be done. And having said that let's leap right into producing auto-updating content rich websites along with some basic steps you'll need to observe.
Step 1. Before you can move on to Step 2, you’ll need to pick a niche market for your content site. To make it easy on yourself you should start with something you're interested or otherwise very familiar with like a hobby or trade. Please try not to let it be something that you just dream up off the top of your head, and certainly don't let selecting your niche take too much of your time. It's really easy to do; it's not rocket science (Hey that could be your niche!). As a researcher what I did was just pick anything as my "practice run niche" to learn how to set them up and how the different niche markets work. As you begin and you’ve learned how to set up your niche then you can use research to refine it and even move on to selecting a different or related niche.
Step 2. You have your niche now you'll need to do some S.E.O. (Search Engine Optimization) research to build your auto-updating content site around. This can easily be done with most any type of keyword research tool. Do some research and pick one that will fit your skill level and your budget, the more user friendly to you the better. You can find many different keyword & SEO research tools both paid and free with a quick search on MSN, Google or Yahoo.
Step 3. Use a template and build a website; now here's where the fun begins because it is far easier to this than Step 2. Choose a web host that has site building templates to use for your content site. In this way you can choose how you want your website to look without having to know any actual HTML design code and build a site. Once you have a hosting plan and have chosen a template, load it up with your static content (articles, products, pictures ect.) and get ready to add your auto-updating content as the final step in setting up your content site. It can take as little as an hour to have your content rich site up and running, especially if you already have all of your static content ready to add.
Step 4. You may be wondering at this point where you are going to get auto-updating content. This auto-updating content will come from RSS feeds that you will add to your site. To start you can search for RSS feeds by going to MSN, Yahoo, Google, most blog directories and RSS directories once there you should be able to find what you need with no problem. You can even create your own RSS feed widget and even a few article directories will offer you RSS feeds as well. Make certain you use your keywords to find RSS feeds related to your niche. If you are using other people to create the content and using their RSS feed be sure the content is worthy of being placed onto your site. Placing the wrong content on your site will make it worthless to the visitors who are seeking your niche information. The benefit in using someone else's RSS feed is, each time they add new content your site gets new content too without you having to lift a finger (auto-updating in action). However be aware that different RSS feeds update at different intervals in some cases the updates come in hours, others in days, weeks and months. Be sure to find out how often the RSS feed you choose updates; hours and days are the best intervals to keep readers coming back to your site.
Step 5. Knock out two birds with one stone here by putting the word out about your site and starting a mailing list. Write an article about your niche, if you have followed Step 1. as instructed you will be writing about something you already know in and out. Writing about what you know is a lot easier than people think. Try writing like you are talking to an old friend about your niche and tell that friend as many details as possible without getting too long winded (1 or 2 pages should be more than enough). In your article be sure to put a link back to your content site's subscriber page, all good content sites have a subscriber page or list building form on among their pages. After you have finished your article you then submit it to the different article and e-zine directories to get the word out about your site. Be sure to write more than one article, this will establish your know how in your niche and gain trust amongst readers. Another advantage to article writing is that when someone likes your article they will pass it on to friends making it a viral article with links back to your content site.
Step 6. Establishing your subscriber or mailing list, this is the most significant part of internet marketing and the only method to be truly successful. Without a subscriber base you will experience limited earnings if any at all. Everything considered, if you can't convert the reader into a willing buyer, you should then attempt to convert him or her into your subscriber. In this way, you are able to still follow up with your reader with future offers as well as have a chance at converting him or her into your customer, preferably lifetime customer at a later date. Regardless what you select as your niche, do not neglect this essential step in your internet marketing success.
I encourage you to adopt what you have learned from this article, do more research and get started right now!

If you're just beginning your InternetRSS feeds, if that is the case your first thought should be, "What the heck is an RSS feed?” In essence an RSS feed is a type of data format that's used to syndicate subject matter on the web. By including an RSS feed for your content, you could potentially have your content published throughout the World Wide Web. Marketing endeavors you might not have discovered
For the Pros and newbie’s alike there's multiple techniques to apply RSS feeds to your site and profit from them, furthermore in this short article I'll discuss a couple of those ways. Let's not beat around the bush and get right to the meat of the subject so you can get a effective beginning to turning a profit with RSS feeds.
1. One of the best ways to profit with an RSS feed is to create niche content sites. There are a couple of simple stages you have got to stick with, furthermore once you establish your niche content site the majority of your work is done. Simply by using an RSS feed for some of the content your site will automatically update with new content each time the RSS feed is updated. A word of advice here, make sure the RSS feed you choose updates at an interval that is acceptable to you and the goals of your site. When done right it's as "set it and forget it" as you can possibly get. This is the easiest way to go if you would like to make a profit.
2. This one will take a little more effort on your part, but can prove to be very profitable. Try your hand at creating your own unique content and create an RSS feed for it, a good place to make an RSS feed widget is http://www.springwidgets.com. You will be able to promote anything you want inside your content to money. Submit your new RSS feed to RSS directories and look on as your RSS feed spreads like a virus across the internet, this is called Viral Marketing. This will be an impressive means to build revenue thru an RSS feed if you create your content in the proper ways.
3. Start an RSS feed directory of your own again this is going to take some greater effort on your part, but it's an additional enormous method to benefit thru RSS feeds. The reason you would like to do this is that, smart webmasters will syndicate their subject matter by means of RSS feeds in hopes of getting their content to all of the relevant places on the Internet. These webmasters are always exploring fresh ways to have their content spread across the internet and RSS feed directories will continue to be the number one source for them for the foreseeable future. To make this type of site truly profitable you will need to monetize the directory by selling advertising space, affiliate products, and most importantly by placing PPC (Pay-Per-Click) ads on your directory.
4. Offer premium RSS feeds. Here's how you do it, first you will need to locate a professional writer online, unless you have that talent yourself. Second, after checking the writer out and viewing his or her work and you are satisfied that this person will be able to help you develop unique content in different niche fields, hire them. Third, have your writer develop content for at least three different niche fields to begin with and once you have created an RSS feed for it charge people to use your RSS feed on their website. You could also charge for your paid content in the form of articles with PLR (Private Label Rights) as well. Webmasters are always looking for articles on their niche subject.
5. Let's expand on #3 a little and make that RSS Directory you started a Podcast and Videocast Directory as well. In addition to the RSS feed directory you could offer webmasters a place to list their podcast and videocast all from one site. This strategy will also increase traffic to your site by making it more valuable to webmasters seeking to list their feeds as well as customers seeking those listed feeds. The new advertising revolution is proving that podcasting and videocasting are technologies on the rise in internet marketing, and that could mean immense revenue for some quick thinking and quick moving webmasters.
These are five simple ways to make a profit with RSS feeds, and the list goes on and on being limited only by your imagination. Use any or all of the strategies above , dream up your own or even copy strategies from the top websites in your niche. As soon as you've selected a strategy, you'll need to come up with an outline to make it materialize and then promote your site in order to attain income thru it. I just hope this is enough to get your creative juices flowing on the different ways you are able to use RSS feeds to create a hands-off cash flow.
RSS feeds are a comparatively young technology and as time marches on, it will develop like everything else in this modern world...by leaps and bounds. Entering into this line of business today, you'll have the potential to make enormous profit. So, don't wait to get started take the information I have given you here, do some more inquiry and get moving today!

Numerous Internet Marketers are creating more revenue from monetized content websites these days than they ever thought possible. Monetized content websites are merely respectable looking websites with specialized articles, reports, news and perhaps other specialized content on them, this means any blog can be a monetized content site. If you know how to use a what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) editor, and are able publish a short article (much like this one), or you already have a blog that just needs converting then you will be able to build a monetized content site.
Make no mistake about it monetized content sites do take a good amount of work to make and keep them profitable. This is also the fastest way to have a monetized content site up and running without any money out of pocket. After you design your blog all you need to do is get the word out about it by submitting it to the different directories and website indexes.
The method that the Pro's use to establish monetized content sites quickly is to employ RSS feeds, of which you can create your own or use one that someone else has created. Various "Newbie Internet Marketers" and a few veteran marketers as well are in opposition to employing RSS feeds for fresh content on their websites because of the duplication content filters the search engines use. Nevertheless, you can find the tools that you need online so that near matching or duplicate content is no longer an issue of any real concern.
Simply by arranging RSS feeds on your blog, you acquire instant relevant content. Using the internet you'll be able to begin searching for RSS feed niches on hundreds upon hundreds of subjects, and I'm sure you'll be able to find more than a few that are correlating with the niche you have chosen for your monetized content website. Please make certain that you don't just use the first RSS feed you find. There are several things that you must take into consideration when choosing an RSS feed.
Here is how the "Pros" begin developing a blog into a monetized content website effectively employing RSS feeds.
1. Pick your niche, and make it's something you already know quite a bit about. Try a niche on your favorite hobby or maybe your job or favorite sport. Another approach could be if you have a friend or relative that just won't be quiet about there hobby or past time, pump that person for all the information you can get. You could even make that person a partner in your internet business venture. All things considered you need to make your niche something easy for you to talk about as well as write about.
2. Use the internet to find multiple sources of RSS feeds by searching for RSS feed directories, article sites, and blogs. Make certain that you arrange to have the rights to apply the feed, or that the feed is free to use because some webmasters will not allow you to use the RSS feeds they have created. You can also make your own RSS feeds at sites like http://www.springwidgets.com and gain more valuable information on how RSS feeds work and how to apply them. With RSS feeds from springwidgets you can have the RSS feed downloaded right to you desktop, so you don't have to go to the site every time you would like to view the feed.
3. Make it a point that you employ RSS feeds that will put relevant information on your monetized blog or monetized content site. You shouldn't want an RSS feed about "Repairing Cars" if your blog or content site is about "Cooking" this will just drive your visitors to another website. Be sure to check how often the RSS feed will refresh itself (hours, days, weeks, or months) and select a RSS feed with intervals and content that is appropriate for your web site. The shorter the intervals and the more relevant the information the more likely a visitor will return to check out the updated information on a regular basis.
4. Use the internet to find an RSS aggregator and turn the RSS feeds into script or html code so you will be able to place into your blog for instant content. Those scripts and html codes can be used to place your feeds on other sites as well. When building your site you might want to use a template to help you arrange your RSS feeds and banner ads so that they look professional and are properly spaced. It's also best to use a WYSIWYG site builder if at all possible, otherwise you will need to know html or someone that does. Bottom line is keeping it simple this goes for the beginner as well as the seasoned professional (but the pro already knows this).
5. If you build your site around the RSS feed content it then would be wise to add other resources and maybe some affiliate products or your own products to your website to help make it look professional as well as add more value for your guest. If you intend on using only RSS feeds (which I do not recommend, for newbie’s) you must monetize your site in some way with YPN, Google Adsense, and the other PPC networks. You could also use rotating banner ads, a pod cast or a videos on your site as extra content, again keep the content relevant. Also make sure you check the RSS feed for yourself and see if it performs to the standards you have set for you blog.
6. Promoting your blog is the final step; it is also the only perpetual step. If nobody knows you're out there the only visitors you'll have are people who unintentionally stumbled upon your blog while searching for another person’s blog or website, and that's exactly it literally no one else! Among the easiest ways to promote your blog is to use one or more of your blog post as articles and submit them to the different article indexes found online. Another immediate and effortless way to promote your blog is to submit it to the website directories as well, because it is a website! And as far as the search engines are concerned Google will crawl your blog in many cases faster than your website on an equivalent or exact same subject. The more you promote your blog the more potential visitors you will have and the more potential money you will make.
This information intended for the new and intermediate internet marketer and is to be used as a foundation for you to further your education on this subject. There's such a great deal more that you can learn on this subject, as well as some of the other options I mentioned in Step 5, and it's more of a foundation than I started out with.
I won't even begin to try and cover exactly how to do everything in detail here because there are whole books on the subject, as well as stage-by-stage video tutorials you can find online. Since I am not trying to make this article a mini ebook I would suggest you check out this site http://www.rsscashsecrets.com they have a step by step video that at the time I was writing this article was free, and it will demonstrate how to do everything I have mentioned above and than some.
There are also links to other resources, articles, industry news, software and more here on this site. I extremely urge that you employ this article as your foundation, afterward go get the free video tutorial (if it's still there). There are no drawbacks and it genuinely is a complimentary video tutorial. There's no better time to get started...than right now! Why are you still here go out there and get your blog converted or up and running as a monetized content site!
Well, I trust this article has given you some insight and enough of a starting foundation on how to create or convert your blogs into monetized content sites.
